SARAWAK NEEDS A STRONGER VOICE – DR SIM KUI HIAN

Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) President Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian said that the people of Sarawak will have a stronger say in their state’s rights if Barisan Nasional (BN) can capture all six parliamentary seats held by the opposition.

Urging Sarawakians to exhibit unity in seeking a return of their rights, Dr Sim said “we can ensure this by winning back those lost seats during this General Election in Sarawak.”

The parliamentary seats held by the Opposition are Miri, Sarikei, Sibu, Lanang, Stampin and Bandar Kuching.

There are 31 parliamentary constituencies in Sarawak of which BN holds 25 seats, with DAP five and PKR one.

Dr Sim added that winning back the Opposition-held seats could be achieved, but the task would be very tough.
